ACR1281U USB NFC Reader and Writer

The ACR1281U is a contactless/contact smart card reader with wireless NFC technology and MIFARE. It connects to a PC via a USB port.

The ACR1281U is the new version of the ACS ACR120U contactless/contact card reader. The USB protocol ACR1281U-C8 defines the interface between the computer and the reader, as well as the communication channel between the computer and supported contactless cards, including MIFARE® compatible cards, ISO 14443 Type A and B. With High Level APIs, users can develop applications incorporating the use of contactless/contact cards with minimal effort. For example:

• Access Control, Identification: Reading serial numbers of all cards in the field
• Data Storage: Performing encrypted reading and writing operations
• Ticketing: Executing reading, writing, incrementing, and decrementing operations in an encrypted environment
• Multiple Applications: Executing reading, writing, incrementing, and decrementing operations on different sectors of the card
