Mini PIR Motion Sensor

PIR (Passive Infrared) motion sensor is a pyroelectric device that can detect human movement by sensing the infrared radiation emitted by the human body. The operating voltage is 5 ~ 25VDC, and the output voltage equals the input voltage. It features high sensitivity and is easy to install. Widely used for motion-activated lighting, LED strips, security systems, automatic sensor devices, and more.

Delay: Turning clockwise decreases the delay; turning counterclockwise increases the delay.

Light Sensor: Turning clockwise reduces the strength of the light sensor; turning counterclockwise increases it.

Distance Sensor: Turning clockwise increases the sensing distance; turning counterclockwise reduces it.

Notes:

1. Do not expose to direct sunlight or lighting, strong winds, or proximity to heating or air conditioning.
2. Do not place too close to materials (e.g., glass, thick clothing) through which IR cannot pass.
3. Avoid placing it in environments with strong vibrations.
4. When first used, the PIR module requires about one minute for initialization; during this time, the signal triggered by the module is unstable, and after one minute the module will be normal.
5. Sensitivity for left-right direction is better than for up-down direction, so ensure the installation direction is left-right.

a. Motion Activation: The sensor function triggered by motion; you can use this small motion sensor switch to control lighting, such as LED strip lighting.

b. Adjustable Delay Time: First, set it to the minimum value and then try to find values for sensitivity and light sensor - this will save time. The delay time determines how long the light stays on after activation. If motion is detected, the delay time resets and triggers a new delay time.

c. Adjustable Sensitivity: Sensitivity determines how close you need to be to the sensor to activate it.
