What is a CUID tag?
The UID of regular MIFARE 1K tags consists of the first 4 bytes in block 0 of sector 0 and cannot be changed after manufacturing. CUID is the 3rd generation of changeable UID tags, where block 0 of sector 0 can be modified like any other block. It can be edited using phone applications such as MCT NFC, MTools, or RFID Tools.
