What is a CUID tag? The UID of standard MIFARE 1K tags is the first 4 bytes in block 0 of sector 0 and cannot be modified after production. CUID is a 1st generation replaceable UID tag, allowing block 0 of sector 0 to be edited like other blocks. It can be modified using mobile applications such as NFC from MCT, MTools, or RFID Tools.
