This DIY desktop radio features the powerful TEF6686 DSP chip, offering full-band support for AM and FM with high-quality digital signal processing (DSP). It supports RDS (Radio Data System) for FM channels and includes an infrared remote control for convenient operation. Basic Operations:
ON/OFF Button: Main power switch, encoder (ROTARY) mode switch. Long press ON/OFF for 3 seconds to turn on or off. After turning on, short press the encoder once for volume control, short press twice in a row to switch ambient light options, short press once more to exit.
Step switching: Long press enables iMS and EQ.
BW Button: Bandwidth selection

• In FM mode short press: stereo/mono switch

• In FM mode long press: demodulation bandwidth switch between 56/64/72/84/97/114/133/151/168/184/200/217/236/254/287/287/311kHz/AUTOBW
  Can also hold BW and turn TUNING knob to select

• In AM mode short press: demodulation bandwidth switch between 3/4/6/8kHz
  MODE Button: Tuning mode

• Short press: switch between MAN (manual)/AUTO (automatic)/MEM (memory store)

• Long press: opens menu page
  AM/MF Button: Band selection

• Short press: toggle between LW/MW/SW/OIRT/FM

• In FM mode long press: open advanced RDS view/Alternative Frequency view

Speaker output: Uses digital audio amp chip, drives 45x45mm wideband speaker, 4Ω/5W output, low noise, low distortion, loud volume without distortion. Built-in mono speaker, stereo circuit design – set to mono (mixed mode) for stereo channel use.
Headphone output: Uses imported op-amp chip, supports amp connection, standard 3.5mm jack, independent dual op-amp for speaker and headphone. When headphone is inserted, internal amp mutes and switches output to headphone.
