The RW1990 chip is a data carrier used for vehicle driver identification. Data is transmitted via the 1-Wire® protocol. A plastic holder for the chip is included in the package.
Each chip is unique, thanks to its ID number, which is assigned during manufacturing. This number allows for identification of each driver. The chip is protected by a stainless steel casing, making it resistant to all environmental conditions. The primary use of the chip is for driver identification in conjunction with a reader. It is not intended for locating the position of the driver or vehicle.
