The RW1990/DS1990A-F5 chip is a data carrier that serves to identify vehicle drivers. Data is transmitted via the 1-Wire® protocol. The plastic holder with a magnetic ring is included in the package.

Each chip is unique, thanks to its ID number, which is assigned during manufacturing. This number allows for the identification of each driver. The chip is protected by a stainless steel housing, making it resilient to all natural elements. The primary use of the chip is driver identification in conjunction with a reader. It is not intended for the localization of the driver's or vehicle's position.

Chip serial numbers can be read using OneWireViewer and our USB reader
