DXpatrol MK4 USB SDR Receiver
DXpatrol MK4 USB SDR Receiver
DX Patrol MK4, 100 kHz to 2 GHz SDR Receiver
DXPatrol is an ultra-broadband software-defined receiver (SDR) in a surprisingly compact package. It provides full coverage reception from 100 kHz to 2 GHz (less than 800 MHz cellular blocked) using your favorite open-source SDR software via Windows, Mac, Linux, or Android. It connects to your computer's USB port, from which it is also powered. Instead of a computer, you can use your Android phone or tablet for a truly portable setup for shortwave and DX listening.
Listen to signals across the radio spectrum using AM, FM, and narrowband signals like SSB and CW. You can visualize the radio spectrum from 50 Hz to 3 MHz! Monitor the entire amateur 10-meter band on a single screen. This is a proverbial "Swiss Army knife" of SDR, with applications limited only by your imagination and software. Explore further on this page for numerous applications for this little gem and find out where you can get free software.
