NanoPi R5S

The NanoPi R5S is a top-of-the-line mini-router from FriendlyElec that features edge computing and supports 2.5Gbps Ethernet ports. The device dimensions are 68x94.5x30mm, powered via PD or USB Type C. It is compatible with operating systems such as FriendlyWrt, Ubuntu, and Armbian.

The NanoPi R5S is driven by a high-performance RK3568B2 SoC Rockchip with a frequency of up to 2.0 GHz. The device comes with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and internal storage options of 32GB eMMC. There are two USB 3.0 ports available for connecting external hard drives, 4G modules, USB HD cameras, and USB Wi-Fi modules.

FriendlyElec has also released a special CNC metal case for the NanoPi R5S, which ensures excellent heat dissipation. During testing with this case, the device operated smoothly at full frequency.
