Nickel-Plated Steel Strip for 2x18650, 10 m - Suitable for Spot Welding

Double nickel-plated SPCC steel strip for spot welding lithium batteries, 10 m roll.

This nickel-plated SPCC steel strip is suitable for spot welding lithium batteries 18650/26650 into battery packs. The size 0.15x8mm is quite commonly used by most customers. To select the appropriate type of strip, consider the maximum current and previous welding experiences.

Product Material: The nickel-plated steel strip is made of low carbon steel (SPCC), cold-rolled, and the surface is nickel-plated (after cutting large nickel-plated coils, one side of the finished nickel strip is naturally unplated).

Note: This strip does not have a stainless steel base material. Generally, stainless nickel-plated strips cannot be used for batteries because the internal resistance of stainless strips is about 3 times greater than that of nickel-plated steel and can only be used for connecting batteries in some low-current devices.

Note: This is a strip of low-carbon SPCC steel (C ≤ 0.10 Si ≤ 0.05 Mn ≤ 0.50 P ≤ 0.035 S ≤ 0.025), the strip may be softer than expected but this is normal. Open coils cannot be returned!

Friendly Reminder: 10-meter rolls are sold in closed bags with a specially added desiccant suitable for longer storage. After touching the nickel strip, its side may rust due to sweat on the hands. When working with the strips, use textile gloves or keep your hands clean and very dry.

Generally, the pitch of holes for 18650 holders on the market is between 20.2 and 20.25, which is exactly right for the nickel strip of our holder.

The distance between holes of nickel strips without holders is 18.5 mm.

To maximize space saving on the battery, you can also use a combination of diagonal rows of our nickel strips.

Note: "for holder" in the description refers to whether it can be used with a holder and does not mean that purchasing a nickel strip will give you a holder.
