OrangePi 3B with Rockchip RK3566 Processor
The Orange Pi 3B is powered by a quad-core 64-bit Rockchip RK3566 processor built on an advanced 22nm manufacturing process, reaching maximum frequencies of up to 1.8 GHz. It includes an integrated ARM Mali G52 2EE graphic processor, supporting OpenGL ES 1.1/2.0/3.2, OpenCL 2.0, Vulkan 1.1, and features a high-performance embedded 2D acceleration module. Additionally, it has a built-in NPU AI accelerator with computing power of 0.8 TOPS.
The VPU allows for 4K@60fps video decoding (H.265/H.264/VP9) and 1080P@100fps encoding (H.265) or 1080P@60fps (H.264). It supports an 8M ISP and HDR. Variants are available with 2GB/4GB/8GB LPDDR4/4X RAM, and expandable with an eMMC module of 16GB/32GB/64GB/128GB/256GB, along with 16MB/32MB SPI Flash. The device is equipped with Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0 with BLE support.
The Orange Pi 3B offers a wide range of interfaces, including HDMI output, optional M.2 M-KEY slot, Micro SD slot, gigabit LAN port, USB 2.0, USB 3.0, 3.5mm audio jack, MIPI DSI port, eDP port, MIPI CSI port for cameras, and a multifunctional 40-pin expansion connector. It can be utilized in TV boxes, high-end tablets, edge computing, facial recognition, smart security, smart homes, and other AI and IoT applications.
The Orange Pi 3B supports various operating systems including Android 11, Ubuntu 22.04, Ubuntu 20.04, Debian 11, Debian 12, OpenHarmony 4.0 Beta1, Orange Pi OS (Arch), Orange Pi OS (OH) based on OpenHarmony, and more.
