PN532 NFC RFID V3 Module for Near Field Communication Kit, Supports Communication with Android Phones

Near Field Communication (NFC) is a set of standards for smartphones and similar devices to establish mutual radio communication through touch or by being placed sufficiently close to one another, typically within a few centimeters.

For electronics enthusiasts, we also want to use NFC technology to create our projects. Therefore, we developed this NFC RFID module. This module is based on the NXP PN532. The NXP PN532 is very popular in the NFC field. The company provides extensive technical documentation to assist developers. We developed this module based on the official documentation, and to simplify matters, we also created a library for this module.

In this module, we have minimized the use of all IO pins from the NXP532. Users could connect and play more easily. With our Arduino sensor shield, it is very easy to connect and start playing. However, if users wish to use other interfaces such as UART or SPI, this module also allows for easy connections via these pins.

3. Supports RFID reading and writing, P2P communication with peers, NFC with Android phones
4. RFID reader/writer supports:
• Mifare 1k, 4k, Ultralight, and DesFire cards
• ISO/IEC 14443-4 cards such as CD97BX, CD light, Desfire, P5CN072 (SMX)
• Innovision Jewel cards such as the IRT5001 card
• FeliCa cards such as RCS_860 and RCS_854
5. Reading distance up to approximately 5cm~7cm
6. Built-in level shifter, standard 5V TTL for I2C and UART, 3.3V TTL for SPI
7. Compatible with Arduino, just plug it with our shield and start playing
