PortaPack H2M – Add-On for HackRF One
The PortaPack H2M is what the FlipperZero would aspire to be when it grows up. It's one of the best electronic tools for exploitation currently on the market.
By adding the PortaPack to the software-defined radio HackRF, you no longer need a laptop! Connecting the PortaPack to the HackRF provides an LCD touchscreen, navigation controls, headphone jack, real-time display, and a micro SD card slot.
With an integrated rechargeable battery of 2100 mAh, you can explore the radio spectrum wherever you are. The PortaPack firmware works seamlessly with the fast ARM processor of the HackRF. No computer is needed (except for firmware flashing).
Features:
- Model: PortaPack H2M (Signature Edition)
- 3.2", 240 x 320 RGB LCD with resistive touchscreen.
- Crystal oscillator 10.00 MHz TCXO FOX 5070.
- Arrow buttons in four directions, a rotary knob, and a selection button.
- Button cell battery for retaining settings and date/time.
- Micro SD card slot for data storage and code storage.
- SSB, AM, narrowband FM, broadband FM sound reception, with spectral cascading.
- Broadband (18MHz) spectral and cascading analysis.
- Boat monitoring (AIS), car monitoring (TPMS), utility monitoring (ITRON ERT).
- HackRF mode runs on HackRF firmware for use with SDR software on a PC.
- PPM calibration for more accurate tuning.
- Sleep mode saves energy by turning off the display.

Characteristics:
- Your HackRF will continue to work with computer SDR software when you set the PortaPack to "HackRF" mode.
- The PortaPack is compatible only with HackRF Uno. It is not compatible with the first design of HackRF Jawbreaker. If your HackRF has an RF shield installed, the PortaPack should be fine. Compatibility with HackRF Blu is experimental. One Blu owner reported good results with less interference between the PortaPack's audio capacitors and the mechanical header tape. If your HackRF Blu does not have a header tape installed, you should not have mechanical issues.
- The PortaPack requires an external battery. Any battery connected via USB should work, although their quality varies significantly and poorly designed batteries may introduce noise from the voltage regulator into the radio.
- The PortaPack and HackRF Uno cannot replace your handheld amateur radio receiver. Sensitivity varies by band but will not match that of a true amateur radio receiver.
Note:
- The HackRF is not included in the package.
- The battery is included in the package.
