Characteristics:

• Your HackRF will continue to work with computer SDR software when you set the PortaPack to "HackRF" mode.
• The PortaPack is compatible only with HackRF Uno. It is not compatible with the first design of HackRF Jawbreaker. If your HackRF has an RF shield installed, the PortaPack should be fine. Compatibility with HackRF Blu is experimental. One Blu owner reported good results with less interference between the PortaPack's audio capacitors and the mechanical header tape. If your HackRF Blu does not have a header tape installed, you should not have mechanical issues.
• The PortaPack requires an external battery. Any battery connected via USB should work, although their quality varies significantly and poorly designed batteries may introduce noise from the voltage regulator into the radio.
• The PortaPack and HackRF Uno cannot replace your handheld amateur radio receiver. Sensitivity varies by band but will not match that of a true amateur radio receiver.
