SAWbird+ GOES - High-Gain LNA 1.688 GHz

The SAWbird+ GOES is a powerful low-noise amplifier (LNA) module designed for receiving NOAA GOES satellite weather images at 1.688 GHz. Featuring dual ultra-low-noise LNAs with a custom high-performance SAW filter, it provides excellent selectivity with very high attenuation outside the 80 MHz bandpass and a minimum 30 dB gain within the band.

With dual EMI shielding and flexible power options (bias-tee, microUSB, or 0.1" header), the SAWbird+ GOES ensures stable, interference-free performance. It is optimized for use with SDR receivers such as the NESDR SMArTee XTR v2 or HackRF, making it an essential tool for satellite hobbyists, weather enthusiasts, and research applications.
