Our SCR (thyristor) voltage regulators provide reliable, energy-efficient, and compact control of AC motor speeds!

These variable SCR AC voltage regulators are specifically manufactured for vibratory feeders, fans, pumps, and heating and lighting devices. All models are equipped with a single-phase AC input and fully variable AC output.

The SCR regulators adjust the output AC voltage similarly to ceiling fan controls or lighting dimmers. These SCR regulators can be used with single-phase AC motors to control their speed and can also be used with resistive loads, such as lighting.

It is very important to note that these regulators do NOT WORK with motors having a capacitive start, which is a common motor used in single-phase applications.

Dimming of CFLs, LED lights, and other devices containing electronics is not possible!

Motors for which speed is controlled using these SCR regulators include motors with permanently connected start capacitors (PSC), permanent split phase (PSP), shaded pole, and universal motors. These are all single-phase motor types that can be regulated using SCR—applications may have various limitations.
