Single-phase AC regulator 110-220V - solid state SCR
Our SCR (thyristor) voltage regulators provide reliable, economical, and compact speed control for AC motors!
These variable AC voltage regulators SCR are manufactured specifically for vibrating feeders, fans, pumps, and heating and lighting devices. All models are equipped with a single-phase AC input and fully variable AC output.
The SCR regulators adjust the output AC voltage supply, similar to controlling a ceiling fan or lighting dimmer. These SCR regulators can be appropriately used with single-phase AC motors, regulating their speed. They can also be used with resistive loads, for example, for lighting.
It is very important to note that these regulators DO NOT WORK with capacitor-start motors, which are common motors used in single-phase applications. Capacitor-start motors have a large bump visually located at the top or on the side where the motor capacitor resides. The motor capacitor prevents any attempts to reduce speed.
Dimming of energy-saving bulbs, LED lights, and other devices containing electronics is not possible!
Motors where speed is controlled using these SCR regulators are motors with permanently connected start capacitors (PSC), permanent split-phase (PSP), shaded pole, and universal motors. This includes all single-phase motor types where speed can be controlled using SCR regulators – however, these applications may have certain limitations. Our SCR regulators can regulate most motors of small household appliances and handheld electric tools.
The SCR regulator does not provide a wide range for speed regulation – the regulation will likely be in the upper half of the setting range. To move the motor before slowing down, reinforcement of the SCR regulator's performance is required.

When is it appropriate to use this regulator:
- This regulator is not suitable for saving energy and LED lighting, televisions, computers, music players, or other devices that contain switching power supplies and/or rectifiers or other electronic components. This regulator is not suitable for asynchronous motors with a motor (starting) capacitor.
- Common light bulbs, heaters, fans, ventilation systems, single-phase motors, soldering irons, etc.

Wiring diagram:

How to choose the right regulator:
For purely resistive loads, multiply the operating current by three. Example: (2.2kW/220V) * 3 = 30, so the most suitable model will be 40A - LSA-H2P40RI.
For inductive loads (motors), multiply the operating current by five. Example: (5kW/220V) * 5 = 113, so the most suitable model will be 120A - LSA-H2P120RI.
Cooling:
To prevent models with 40A, 50A, and 70A from overheating and functioning properly, a heatsink must be used. Model numbers ending in H are supplied including a heatsink.
Models with rated values of 90A, 120A, 150A, 200A, 300A, and 400A require active cooling. Model numbers with H+F include both a heatsink and fan.
Do not use models with ratings higher than 25A without cooling!
