Sipeed Maixduino RISC-V AI IoT

Maixduino SBC combining RISC-V AI, Arduino Form Factor, and ESP32 wireless module

The Maixduino can be programmed using the MaixPy IDE (MicroPython), Arduino IDE, OpenMV IDE, and PlatformIO IDE. It supports Tiny-Yolo, MobileNet, and TensorFlow Lite deep learning frameworks for image identification at QVGA @ 60fps or VGA @ 30fps. You can find the working microsite with documentation here.

Typical applications include smart home devices (cleaning robots or smart speakers or medical devices), Factory 4.0 (intelligent sorting or monitoring of electrical appliances), as well as agricultural and educational equipment.

MAIX development boards with Sipeed M1 RISC-V AI module

The Sipeed M1 (also known as MAIX-I) is a compact module based on the Kendryte K210 dual-core RISC-V processor designed for edge computing tasks with low-power AI, such as facial detection, object recognition, or audio processing.

Board accessories are also available, including 2.4" and 2.8" displays, camera modules, microphones, and microphone array modules.

MAIX boards and modules support a standalone SDK, FreeRTOS SDK based on C/C++, as well as a Micropython port called MaixPy with source code available on GitHub. In the video below, you can find an overview of the boards and various visual and sound demonstrations.
