Taoglas Magma X AA.178.301111 is an active, external magnetic mount GPS antenna that supports both L1 and L5 bands. The L5 band operates on the same frequency as IRNSS, allowing the Magma X device to function on this frequency as well. It is a dual-band, high-performance, and cost-effective solution for tracking applications, providing centimeter-level accuracy.

This compact antenna features excellent radiation patterns in both GPS L1 and L5 bands, with low noise levels, ensuring signal quality and minimizing the time required for the first position fix. It also boasts excellent out-of-band rejection to prevent overload or damage from out-of-band signals.

The antenna has been tuned and tested on a 70 x 70 mm ground plane, operating with GPS L1, 1575.42 MHz, and IRNSS / L5, 1176MHz, utilizing a dual-stage LNA for good signal strength. It can operate with input voltage ranging from 1.8 to 5 volts.
