Enhanced CPU Performance
Powered by a 6-core Arm® SoC with the new 64-bit Armv8 architecture — Rockchip RK3399 — the Tinker Board 2S provides significantly better performance compared to other popular SBC boards. It also includes Arm's big.LITTLE technology, which is a heterogeneous processing architecture that combines two very different processors in one SoC. The big.LITTLE software automates task scheduling, ensuring the right CPU core for each process. As a result, the Tinker Board 2S delivers up to almost double the performance of the original Tinker Board and is significantly faster than many competing SBCs.

Enhanced GPU Performance
The GPU provided with the Tinker Board 2S is the Mali-T860, a multicore GPU that is the most powerful model built on Arm’s Midgard architecture. Specifically, the Mali-T860 is designed for demanding graphics use cases and fully supports OpenGL ES 3.0/3.1, OpenVG 1.1, OpenCL, and other frameworks for next-generation and legacy 2D/3D graphics applications. Compared to the original Tinker Board GPU, the Tinker Board 2S' Mali-T860 accelerates graphics performance by up to 28%.

Dual Display Support
The Tinker Board 2S supports dual displays with resolutions up to 4K UHD, equipping you for impressive visual output. It also features three popular display interfaces, including HDMI, DisplayPort over USB-C, and DSI, for exceptional flexibility.

Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
Next-level Wi-Fi 802.11ac with 2x2 dual-band 2.4/5 GHz antennas offers data transfer speeds that are up to 10x faster than previous Wi-Fi standards. The Tinker Board 2S also includes the latest Bluetooth 5.0 technology, allowing you to enjoy double the transfer speeds and up to four times the range. Integrated Bluetooth also provides the convenience and freedom of wireless connectivity with a wide range of devices, including speakers, headphones, and gaming controllers.
Rich Connectivity: USB 3.2 Gen 1
The Tinker Board 2S features three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports and one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C (USB-C) port for up to 10x faster data transfer than USB 2.0 — plus the convenience of accelerated connectivity. The Tinker Board 2’s USB 3.2 Type-A ports provide up to 0.9 A of power, while the USB-C connector delivers up to 1.5 A for significantly faster charging than older USB 2.0 ports. USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C supports OTG and DisplayPort Alt Mode for DP alt mode connections to external displays.

Adiantum encryption is now up to 5x more efficient than AES encryption. Specifically with TLS 1.3, the transmission process is more secure and the connection performance is also improved.
