The VESC BLDC controllers represent the latest generation of ESCs with an open-source code, ideal for controlling motors of electric skateboards. These controllers are manufactured with a range of customizable settings that traditional ESCs do not offer.

VESC is a highly customizable electronic speed controller (ESC) designed by Benjamin Vedder. It is especially suitable for DIY electric skateboard setups. With VESC controllers, it is possible to effectively use sensorless motors for smooth starts, while traditional RC controllers often face issues with this process. The VESC controller can be connected to a computer via mini USB, allowing you to customize its settings according to your needs.

The VESC Tool is only compatible with Windows and Linux systems; MacOS support is not available. During the production cycle, we test our VESC controllers several times.

If your VESC controller is directly set to the specific voltage of the motor and battery, its performance will be further enhanced. Check out our videos for more information on programming the VESC controller. For proper operation of the VESC controller, you will also need additional components listed below.
