The Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) is an electronic control unit for electric vehicles, similar to the Engine Control Unit (ECU) used in traditional internal combustion engine vehicles.
The VB VCU is a crucial electronic control unit that ensures decision-making for vehicle control. It is generally used only by new energy vehicles, while traditional internal combustion engine vehicles do not require this device. The VCU assesses the driver's intent to drive by collecting signals such as accelerator pedal position, gear shifter, brake pedal, etc., and monitors the vehicle's status information (speed, temperature, etc.). The VCU processes this information and sends operational instructions to the power system and battery system.
