The NanoPi R4S (referred to as "R4S") is a top-tier mini-router from FriendlyElec that facilitates edge computing and features two gigabit Ethernet ports. Its dimensions are 66 x 66 mm, and it is powered through a USB Type-C port. It supports operating systems such as FriendlyWrt, Ubuntu, Armbian, and more.

The NanoPi R4S utilizes a high-performance RK3399 Rockchip SoC, capable of clocking up to 1.8 GHz. It includes 1 GB DDR3/4 GB LPDDR4 RAM and two gigabit Ethernet ports, supporting dynamic frequency scaling. With two USB 3.0 ports, users can connect external hard drives, 4G modules, USB HD cameras, USB WiFi modules, and additional devices.

FriendlyElec has also released a special CNC metal case for the NanoPi R4S, ensuring excellent heat dissipation. During testing with this case, the NanoPi R4S operated smoothly without a drop in frequency.
