FT232R is a USB/Serial UART interface with optional clock generator output, containing FTDIChip-ID hardware key. Asynchronous and synchronous Bit-Bang modes are also available. The integration of external EEPROM, clock generator, and USB resistor simplifies the USB/UART interface FT232R.
