PWM Generator Module for Stepper Motors
PWM Generator Module for Simple Stepper Motors
This pulse generator module is intended for connection with common types of stepper/pulse motors. The module has two operating modes: frequency and PWM. In frequency mode, the module generates a rectangular signal at a frequency that can be controlled by a large potentiometer. There are 3 frequency ranges in this mode, selectable using a jumper (see below). In PWM mode, the module generates a pulse-width modulated signal with the duty cycle set by the potentiometer. There are also two toggle switches that allow the user to activate/deactivate the motor output and control the direction of motor rotation. The module also features two power ranges, allowing it to be powered from a wide range of power supplies.
Note: This module is intended to be used in conjunction with a motor driver; it cannot be used for directly driving a stepper motor. If 12V to 160V input power is chosen, the 5V to 12V terminals must remain unconnected.

Please note: Different stepper motor drivers may have different labeling.
