This is a USB/RS-485 and USB/RS-422 adapter suitable for most applications, including industrial, commercial, or office devices. It is a bidirectional, reliable, and affordable converter that allows you to easily connect any RS-485 or RS-422 device directly to your computer's USB port, thanks to the conversion of the USB signal to half-duplex RS-485 or full-duplex RS-422 and vice versa.

The RS-485 / RS-422 ends have a standard 4-screw terminal block for easy connection of individual wires. Automatic control of transmitted data is enabled by factory default, and external or handshake control is not required.

This converter allows for Point-to-Point or Point-to-Multipoint networks of up to 32 nodes. The typical communication distance is up to 9800 FT (3 km) at 4800 bps and 6500 FT (2 km) at 9600 bps.

It utilizes the high-performance and reliable FT232 chip from FTDI, making it compatible with all versions of Windows, Mac, and Linux.
